Waking on the last day of 2007 Mother Nature has delivered a bountiful supply of snow. Fluffy and quiet except the sounds of birds picking at the feeder and an occasional plow. The last day of the years starts out slowly, at least here in the Berkshires.
Tomorrow the calendar flips and for weeks we go about trying to remember to write the correct date. Then the end of vacation for many. The crisp quiet cold, wonderful white snow finally bountiful enough for skiing and snowmen. Tomorrow another potential snow.
Winter is fully upon us.
